The Judith Liebenthal Robinson Ovarian Cancer Foundation, or Judy's Mission, was founded in 2010 when Judy Robinson, a NASA scientist who maintained a healthy lifestyle, was diagnosed with Stage IV ovarian cancer and passed away 11 months later. Judy wanted to ensure in her final months that other women were aware of hidden and silent signs of ovarian cancer as well as family medical history. Judy's "mission" was born from her passion and dedication to champion the cause of more research, awareness, and prevention. As a result, friends came together to create a non-profit organization dedicated exclusively to ovarian cancer awareness and research in Houston, Texas. Proceeds from Let's Talk It Ovar will be used to fund an ovarian cancer research grant in Judy's name.
